About this world

KOI-351 h is a gas giant orbiting KOI-351, a yellow-white F-type star 2.77 thousand light-years from Earth. It is about 1 times the size of Jupiter and holds 0.64 Jupiter masses. It completes an orbit every 332 days at 0.97 AU from its star.

Its equilibrium temperature is about 294 K (21 °C): too cold for liquid water on its surface. At its size it almost certainly keeps a deep envelope of hydrogen and helium.

It was discovered in 2013 by transit with Kepler. A planet crosses its star and dims it by a tiny, periodic fraction. KOI-351 has 8 known planets; the others are KOI-351 b, KOI-351 c, Kepler-90 i, KOI-351 d, KOI-351 e, KOI-351 f and KOI-351 g.
