About this world

HD 136352 d is a sub-Neptune orbiting HD 136352, a yellow, Sun-like star (type G4V) 47.9 light-years from Earth. It is about 2.6 times the size of Earth and holds 8.8 Earth masses. It completes an orbit every 107 days at 0.42 AU from its star.

Its equilibrium temperature is about 431 K (158 °C): far too hot for liquid water on its surface. At its size it almost certainly keeps a deep envelope of hydrogen and helium.

It was discovered in 2019 by radial velocity with La Silla Observatory. The star wobbles toward and away from us, Doppler-shifting its spectrum. HD 136352 has 3 known planets; the others are HD 136352 b and HD 136352 c.
