About this world
PSR B1620-26 b is a gas giant orbiting PSR B1620-26, a star. It is about 1.2 times the size of Jupiter (its size estimated from its mass) and holds 2.5 Jupiter masses.
At its size it almost certainly keeps a deep envelope of hydrogen and helium.
It was discovered in 2003 by timing variations with Hubble Space Telescope. Pulsar, eclipse or transit timings drift as an unseen companion tugs on them.
